Brewster Community Network is holding a first-of-a-kind event on June 26, bringing the community together to recognize, meet, and talk with the people who put so much time and effort into making Brewster a special place to live and visit. It will be held from 6:30 – 8 pm in the Captains Golf Course’s Ellsworth Pavilion banquet room.

Year-round and seasonal residents are invited to join Brewster’s elected officials, town employees, and volunteers in informal conversation about our community. There will be a cash bar and complimentary cheese and crackers provided by the Golf Department and Freemans Grill.

Unlike typical BCN forums, the speaking portion of this event will be brief. After an introduction and welcome by BCN, Select Board Chair Cindy Bingham will offer thoughts on the year ahead, and Brewster board, committee, and staff members will be recognized. The remainder of the event will be for mingling and conversation … about the Whitecaps, the weather, the beach, and what’s next in town!

BCN brings together Brewster residents dedicated to sharing our resources, information, and contacts so that, in collaboration with town officials and the greater community, we are better able to maintain the character of our town and quality of our lives.
